Riding solo & unsupported across the United States of America on a Bicycle! This Blog tells the tale of a long haired English bloke on a bike called Shinto cycling across America starting in Oregon and ending in Yorktown Virginia, solo, no support vehicle, just a man, a bike and a tent on the Adventure Cycling Association Trans America Bicycle Trail. Please forgive the endless typos, this blog was uploaded as I rode from my Cellphone.

I'm unable to upload photos for now until i get to a wi fi zone...being a teckynumpty i couldnt get the pictures from my phone into tims pc to upload them and for some reason my pghone isnt connecting to the internet today. The plan now is to go to Tillamook on wednesday morning to dip my wheel in the pacific then take it steady on the first day as i head along the coast through pacific city, rose lodge,, grande ronde, rickreall, monmouth, lewisburg, corvallis harrisburg and up to eugene. I'll see how i feel on the first day as if i do this in a day or take a break overnight at one of the campgrounds on the route. It's been cool having these few days with Tim and Chris to rerst up after my flights and get settled here a bit. The bike feels fine, a little heavy but hopefully i'll just get used to that in the coming week. My text is working, but i cant get e mails on my phone at the moment .
