Riding solo & unsupported across the United States of America on a Bicycle! This Blog tells the tale of a long haired English bloke on a bike called Shinto cycling across America starting in Oregon and ending in Yorktown Virginia, solo, no support vehicle, just a man, a bike and a tent on the Adventure Cycling Association Trans America Bicycle Trail. Please forgive the endless typos, this blog was uploaded as I rode from my Cellphone.

The houses here are perfect..set in pine woods ...it was sunny today ..my wallet fell from the bar bag and the rear pannier fell off on an amazing downhill ..all is well though. Atm I am in my tent next to a river in a pine forest having just cooked pasta a la Rolf ha ha. I can't get over how great Oregon is..it is grisly stunning. Tomorrow I go to Eugene and hopefully it will be as good a ride. The people I spoke with today guessed I was headed to the east coast as lots of riders seem to be as insane as me ha ha. Camping tonight was ten bucks and I spent ten on food. Big hi to those who read this! Bloody hell..I'm actually doing it ha ha...a great start to the trip and I am happy. Cheers again to tim and Chris AMD Brooke for all they did for me here. Herders hawwwwww lol!
