My last view of America and a bumpy landing back in the UK.

I read the google stats and this blog got over 20,000 page hits in the time I was riding. Bit of a surprise that lol!

For anybody thinking of doing this ride let me say...be very ready never to want to get back...America has a huge magnet at it's core that will pull you back!

Thanks for following me and Shinto on this amazing adventure !

Why?

Trans America Bicycle Tour

When I was 16 I cycled to Paris from Sussex England. many years later I cycled around the East Anglian coast in the UK, then from Bremen northern Germany down to the Med coast at Montpellier France, via Switzerland. I lost a lot of weight in the process. Recent events in my life have been painfull and difficult, but I prevailed. Riding across America has been something I dreamed about for years, but never thought it could happen, then I realized all I had to do was make it happen..so I am.

I would not have got this far even without the love of one man. My Rock, my Dad.

This is about one man's wish to break out, live a dream and never surrender.

I have no Idea if I can do this, but I am going to give it my best, for you Mum. RIP xxx
