Inside the community centre here in eddysville Illinois are photos of guys from this tiny place who fought ans died in various wars...mostly ww2.
I think its an honour to see this ...these guys from this tiny place ..so far away from Europe and the pacific gave their lives so we could be free...and here in an old wooden house on a hill in Illinois they once called home I get to see them. Not many Brits can say that.
