I've just been talking to the head of the parks dept here on Farmington who said this is the hottest driest summer since the dustbowl years of the 1930's. I have never seen so many dry river beds as I have in Kansas and Missouri...and here I am riding a bicycle through it all..ha ha..no wonder I've spent so much on Gatorade!
