Riding solo & unsupported across the United States of America on a Bicycle! This Blog tells the tale of a long haired English bloke on a bike called Shinto cycling across America starting in Oregon and ending in Yorktown Virginia, solo, no support vehicle, just a man, a bike and a tent on the Adventure Cycling Association Trans America Bicycle Trail. Please forgive the endless typos, this blog was uploaded as I rode from my Cellphone.

I'm so wired after todays ride I can't sleep. It had everything..lakes, highways, heavy tragic, navigation nightmares, beautiful quite bike paths, police, bike shops , supermarkets, headwinds, tailwinds, ditching the camelback, donuts, 15 bottles of water and to gatorades, massive climb, thunder and lightning, burning heat, moron truck driver, meeting other cy lists, exploding sleep mat, broken track pump , and I rode over a small snake ..saw horses and what I think was a beaver. Spoke with lots of people who always talk to me when they see my union Jack mudguard sticker. Living every minute here!
