This Blog tells the tale of a long haired English bloke on a bike called Shinto cycling across America starting in Oregon and ending in Yorktown Virginia, solo, no support vehicle, just a man, a bike and a tent on the Adventure Cycling Association Trans America Bicycle Trail.

I want to say a big thankyou to my friends from vs planet.com in the states For their support and offers to meet me on the ride and accomodation. It is nice to know I have friends over there and I look forward to meeting those I possibly can! :)

I am so proud of you !!!! OMG You are actually doing it this year. I wish you courage and preseverance, I am sure you can do it! I will be reading your adventure, you are on my bookmarks. I will be in NYC on the 28th October if you still there I will pay you a drink... ;) Boa Viagem!
